On May 5 Josiah turned one. We were in Chattanooga to visit Mark and Teela's new little boy, Liam so we had the party there. It was all about lion which turned out very cute. My Mom made amazing decorations and we had an incredible cake. Josiah loved every bite of his cake which was the complete opposite of Hannah Kate. This is not surprising because before long he will be bigger than her!

A Little Catch Up
The blog has been neglected. Life has gotten busier, the never ending winter is over, and we are spending every nice moment outside! The last few months have been filled with holiday and birthdays. Josiah got his first haircut, the girls are knee deep in preparing for their recital, and Hannah Kate turned three! Oh and of course... Easter! We had 45 people at our house this year- a record. It was a wonderful time and we were blessed with warm weather. It was a reminder of how great a St. Louis "family" we have here.

The never ending winter
It has been one long cold winter. We have been trying to keep ourselves occupied but are ready to get outside!!! The girls are all doing great. We are about to have Hannah Kate's 3rd birthday. She is hilarious and sometimes we can't help but laugh when she should be getting in trouble. Parker and Emma Jane are growing up so fast. They are loving school so much and are so different in their personalities. Josiah is crawling, cruising, putting everything in his mouth possible, and he loves loves loves to point. He is a great eater- finally the fourth child eats. He is quickly closing in on Hannah Kate's weight... although Hannah Kate is teeny tiny. But all in all we are doing well and looking forward to spring!!!!

Christmas
Christmas was a busy time as usual around our house. Jason's parents were able to come to St. Louis for several days before Christmas which was wonderful. The girls' especially enjoyed making gingerbread cookies with Grandma. The girls had a Christmas performance at school which was so wonderful. I was supposed to work but got to go at the last moment and I am so thankful I did. We got to have snacks with them and their class sang songs for us. It was great! Our small group did their annual Christmas pageant and the girls were wisemen this year. After Christmas we headed to Chattanooga for more Christmas fun. Shortly after that we had a decent amount of snow for St. Louis- almost 11 inches. It extended Christmas break a few more days and proved to be a lot of fun for the girls. And lastly Josiah has turned 8 months old at the beginning of January. He is almost crawling and got his first tooth!
