Big Girl Beds

Last weekend was a big weekend in our house for many reasons. In baby news, I hit 30 weeks!!!! This was a huge deal in my book. I wanted to make it to a week that started with a 3... and so we have. I then subsequently "celebrated" by having kidney stones and spending most of Sunday in Labor and Delivery getting lots of fluid and some wonderful pain medicine. We were very thankful though because the kidney stone, which can cause preterm labor, didn't seem to have any affect on the baby. I had no contractions the whole time I was there. Currently the kidney stones don't seem to want to leave my kidneys so we are praying that they just don't cause anymore pain or excitement.
The other exciting event in the Broge household was Parker and Emma Jane got big girl beds. My Dad was in town so he and Jason did the assembly while I kept Parker and Emma Jane out of the way. Due to the fact that eventually all three girls will be in the same room, we opted to get a twin bed with a trundle. The first night was a disaster. Emma Jane just wanted her crib back and literally cried all night long. She also fell out of bed onto Parker. We are now a week out and finally last night was the first night that didn't require intervention. So I am hopeful that normal sleep will resume. They do actually love their big girls beds.

So I got the girls old car seat out of the attic a couple of weeks ago for the baby to make sure it was clean. Emma Jane thought it was a rocking chair for her and climbed on in and stayed there for quite some time. She loves anything that rocks.
The girls "weighing" their stuffed animals. Can you tell how many times I have weighed them that they know exactly what to do??
And for those who didn't know... Auburn won the National Championship this year. While the girls didn't watch the game we had a little pre-game pizza party in our Auburn gear. They are trying to say "War Eagle" in this picture.
