The Winter

We have once again gone along time without posting any pictures but here is my attempt to catch up. We had a good Christmas. It started with the annual small group Christmas pageant. This year the girls were all angels and we even managed to convince Parker and Emma Jane to have a "speaking part". 

For Christmas this year we traveled to Charlotte to my Mom's house. Hannah Kate had her first airplane ride. This was the girls second but the first they would remember. It actually went great. Thank   goodness for electronic devices.  We had a wonderful time.

They were so excited to get these! 

After Christmas we headed to Omaha, NE for Matt and Anna's wedding. The girls were the flower girls and Jason was best man. They did such a good job especially because we barely had 48 hours between being in Charlotte and being in Omaha. Hannah Kate was a trooper through the whole thing too. 

It hasn't snowed much but here is our first snowman of the season!

Lastly, the girls had a belated Christmas dance performance in January. We have had some issues with Emma Jane crying right when she gets to class which always baffles me because she LOVES dance class. They were so excited about this performance... and then the moment the parents walked in the room Emma Jane had a complete nervous breakdown and sobbed through the whole performance. She even for Parker crying for a moment. Here is their class post performance with Emma Jane still clearly upset. I don't know what happened but I am praying the next performance goes better! 

In other news Baby Boy Broge is now 30 weeks old. My due date is May 6 and I am hoping not a minute before as we have alot to do. Jason has been interviewing for full time jobs now that his PhD coursework is done and we are hoping for a new job soon and then very quickly after that a much much bigger house. Hannah Kate's second birthday is also just 4 short weeks away so we have lots of events ahead of us!
