A Little Perspective... Part IV

Good morning, Good Evening, or Good afternoon...whatever the case may be.
This post is going out to all of our faithful long time readers. Those of you who have been slugging it out day in and day out for months and are often asking me...in love...just how big are those babies these days. Well, this is for you. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, If that's true...here's 6000 words

Below: Emma Jane a couple days after she was born, then at about 6 weeks old, and finally on March 17 (6.5 months).

Honestly, comparing them blows my mind.

Below Parker at the same three time periods.

Dem's is some big babies! They may make us struggle for each and every pound, but all the weight is clearly going into cuteness.

Bumbos

The babies are now a little over six months old (chronologically, a little over 3 months adjusted) which is so hard to believe. We have now been home longer than we were in the hospital too which is great. Eating is better- still by no means "normal", but better. They can make it about 6-7 hours at night without waking up which is HUGE. They are eating every 4 hours during the day which has also changed our life and they are almost.... almost... 10 pounds. I told them that is what I want for Easter- two 10 lb. babies. We will see how well they listened. Their latest accomplishment has been attempting to sit in the Bumbo seats. It is so funny to watch a baby so small sit in it because it was really designed for bigger babies. But they can most certainly hold their head up and are getting better each week. Here are some pictures of Bumbo time:

Some quick cuteness with Emma Jane

As was noted in previous entries, we recently traveled to Chattanooga to visit family. I would do a huge post with lots of pictures and information, but frankly...I'm too tired.
So in the meantime, a quick little post featuring Emma Jane. As you may have surmised from an earlier post Emma Jane got sick during the trip. She had a cold and felt generally sluggish and irritable. Here she's resting with mom.

Note to Hannah

Re: Comment on previous post

The management would like to express our sincere apologies for berating your sensibilities with unbaby like pictures as was seen previously. We at Broge and Broge incorporated (the people people) strive for excellence on our website at all times. We take full responsibility for any emotional harm this may have caused. Due to the management being out of town we have been unable to upload any of the new photos of our product which the advertising department has taken. In order to fill up space a rookie decided to use an old photo "for yuks". Rest assured this new employee has been sacked. To ensure future quality in our design we have even gone so far as to sack the employee who hired this young lackey some time ago. Upper management is currently debating about whether or not they should sack those who did the sacking just to make sure the message is well understood in the home office.
All of this could have been avoided if our home office was in possession of an i-phone. Then we could be like our rival company and post photos while on business trips. Of course then we would need to incur not only the expense of the technological equipment but the added expense of accessing the Internet on a monthly basis. We are a small company (with big aspirations) and are unlikely to afford such high tech equipment in the near future.

Again...we apologize for all silliness and will strive for a more serious tone in the future.

Addendum: The manager in charge of details and organization has brought it to the attention of the manager in charge of excessive wordiness that some of the details in the above message may be misleading. It makes it sound as though some unauthorized personnel had managed to post product details on our secure blog. Rest assured this is not the case. The above message was written tongue firmly planted in cheek as a response to the post a dear friend left earlier. We hope this clears any and all confusion. God bless, and good night.
