Ladybug Party

Today is Hannah Kate's second birthday. Back in December she discovered ladybugs and has grown to love them. Therefore we had a fantastic ladybug party today. I think she had a wonderful time. Her cake was a big hit. Last year at her first birthday I couldn't get her to touch her cake or wear a party hat. Today was a success because she did both!

We practiced with candles at breakfast. She was very excited!

Getting a family picture is impossible. I can't imagine what it will be like with four children.

Basically Parker and Emma Jane opened all the presents for her at a very rapid rate. Fortunately she didn't seem to care to much. 

Cousin Lily has one of these and all the girls loved it last time we were  at their house. Hannah Kate loved getting her for herself.

She is quite the feisty two year old. She wants to do everything herself naturally and is so proud of herself when she actually can do something alone. She loves loves loves Parker and Emma Jane and wants to do everything they do. In the last month her vocabulary has exploded and it has been so great watching her learn to say what she wants and learn new words. She loves to sing and dance, loves puppies, ladybugs, and fruit snacks.
