Well, okay, not
the first Noel. But it was the girl's first experience of one.

As the time approached they were equal parts eager...

...and terrified.

They are still too small and fragile to go to church, but they did get some Christmas loot.

as well as some Christmas fruit.

Believe it or not, Parker ate these in one sitting.

Wow! Did all of those oranges come in the stockings? Jim always said that the Broge tradition was 1 apple and 1 orange in the stocking. Merry Christmas!
As my grandmother loves to say: "this too shall pass." I should know - that 'sweet' little bedtime ritual? I am VERY familiar with it (the exercising, the singing...yeah). Anyhow, Liam does actually sleep now. Usually. Mostly. Sometimes. And Mark and I get sleep, too. Oh - and I remember the farting, too. I nursed Liam and that was the worst - when Liam farted while literally attached to me! Hopefully, all the doctors visits will soon be a memory, too. We had a bunch for Liam's first 18 months ... almost always accompanied by blood-letting (Liam was anemic). Liam still freaks out if anyone puts on rubber gloves, including to wash dishes.
Anyhow, best wishes to you and your family.
