Early on, right after the girls were born, I was told that it was evident a man was writing this blog because of the lack of specific details. In response I gave a list of their basic measurements. In recent days I have eluded to the fact that they have grown, and occasionally have tried to give some perspective shots (with rings, bears, and monkeys, etc.). All this said, I realize it has been a while since I have just laid down the hard, cold, scientific facts, something some of you out there probably crave. So here they are:
Parker has a weight of 1.27kg, a length of 39 cm, and a head circumference of 26.5 cm.
Emma Jane has a weight of 1.26kg, a length of 37.9cm, and a head circumference of 26.2cm.
What does all this mean? They’re getting bigger. Both girls are one pound more than their birth weight, which is pretty exciting. When you extend their legs out (something they really don’t like) they are longer then a sheet of paper, but maybe the clearest way to show you they are getting bigger is this:
